Evidence summary of pulmonary rehabilitation in patients with severe idiopathic scoliosis

Objective To retrieve and obtain the relevant evidence of standardized pulmonary rehabilitation strategies for patients with severe idiopathic scoliosis,and to summarize the best evidence. Methods We searched relevant guideline networks,PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,CNKI,Wanfang databases to collect relevant guidelines,expert consensuses,best practices,recommended practices and systematic evaluations related to pulmonary rehabilitation management in severe idiopathic scoliosis from the establishment of the database to January 30,2023. There were 2 researchers who independently evaluated the literature quality and extracted data. Results A total of 14 articles were included,including 2 best practices,3 guidelines,5 expert consensuses,4 systematic reviews,and 25 pieces of best evidence were summarized from 7 dimensions,namely clear objective of pulmonary rehabilitation,multidisciplinary team management,optimal timing of pulmonary rehabilitation,preoperative pulmonary rehabilitation strategy,intraoperative pulmonary protection strategy,postoperative pulmonary rehabilitation strategy,and compre-hensive intervention. Conclusion This study summarized the best evidence of pulmonary rehabilitation management for patients with severe idiopathic scoliosis,and it has a certain scientific and comprehensive nature,which can provide evidence-based bases for the formulating of pulmonary rehabilitation evaluation and management programs and practice standards for patients with severe idiopathic scoliosis.

The perioperative nursing care of a child with type Ⅲ gaucher disease with severe kyphosis is summarized. Nursing points include preoperative multidisciplinary collaborative diagnosis and treatment,adequate preoperative preparation,prevention of neurological damage,implementation of individualized rapid plans,postoperative care for paralytic intestinal obstruction,infection prevention,safety management,and psychological health of children and their families. After active treatment and meticulous care by the medical team,the child was discharged 18 days later. After 1 year of following up,he is in good condition and has returned to the normal school and family life.
